One of the strongest home policies on the market

Missouri weather doesn't pull punches — high winds, tornadoes, and hailstorms put roofs and siding to the test every year. Our team takes time to understand your home, your concerns, and what you'd actually need rebuilt or replaced after a loss. Then we build a policy that addresses those concerns specifically.

We also write coverage for less-common situations: rental properties, vacant homes, and properties under construction. And our dedicated in-agency claims team walks every client through the claims process from start to finish.

Built for the storms St. Louis actually sees

When a storm rolls through Missouri, you don't want surprises at claim time. We'll review your replacement cost annually so you're not underinsured if a tornado, hail event, or fire takes everything down to studs.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Does homeowners insurance cover tornado damage?
Yes. Wind damage — including tornadoes — is a covered peril under a standard home policy. Hail is covered too. What's not covered is flooding, which often comes alongside severe storms. If you're in a flood-prone area, you need a separate flood policy.
How much home insurance do I need?
Enough to fully rebuild your home at current construction costs — not what you paid for it or what it's worth on the market. Construction costs in Missouri have climbed sharply, and underinsured homes are one of the most common surprises after a loss. We review replacement cost annually to keep your coverage in step.
Do you write policies for rental and vacant properties?
Yes. We write coverage for landlord rental properties, vacant homes, and properties under construction. These are different policy types from a standard homeowners policy — call us and we'll figure out which one fits your situation.
What's NOT covered by a standard home policy?
Flood, earthquake, routine wear and tear, pest damage, mold from long-term leaks, and business activity run out of the home are the most common exclusions. Some of these can be added with an endorsement or a separate policy — earthquake is especially worth a conversation in Missouri.
How does the claims process work?
Call our office first, before you call the carrier. Our in-agency claims team helps document the damage, file the claim, and advocate for you if the initial offer doesn't match what you're owed. Having a local agent in the loop means faster, cleaner claims.
